Ryebridge Construction are back at Bristol Airport to carry out critical routine repairs to the East Apron.
The project is being phased to avoid any impact on operations and active storage areas and the works involve breaking out the existing surface, digging to formation and a full depth reconstruction.
Working with a tight programme and coordinating with airside operations, security and the development team to avoid any impact, Ryebridge will hand back the newly constructed apron on time to keep the ever-growing airport moving.
Managing director Sean Scully said: “We are delighted to be back at Bristol Airport to carry out these essential works, and are confident of completing the project on time.
“Our long-standing experience of working in restricted environments with operational constraints, means we are aware that safety, security and the ability to minimise impact on ongoing operations is critical, and this is an ethos we bring with us to Bristol.”
